The Original
Aviation-Grade
Paint Protection Coating
Permagard is a curious name. We often get asked by inquirers: “What is Permagard?”, “Is it a wax?”, “Is it a ceramic coating?”
Permagard is an aviation-grade paint protection coating that was engineered specifically for aerospace environments. Permagard was designed to protect 100% of the maximum paint thickness available to keep your asset’s original factory paint specifications in the best possible condition.
Let us tell you why it’s your time to shine in your brand!
What is Permagard?
Permagard is a handmade, aviation-grade paint protection coating that is manufactured exclusively at our Permagard Headquarters in Miami, Florida, USA, using 100% American-made materials. Permagard is the only paint protection solution that can protect 100% of your clearcoat and paint from environmental attacks, while providing a deep depth of shine that cannot be replicated by competitive products. Permagard’s “wet-look effect” on treated surfaces is what makes Permagard outshine the competition.
How Permagard Works
The Permagard coating utilizes a chemical bonding process called, “cross-linking”. As Permagard’s proprietary formula bonds to the painted surfaces’ molecular structure and fills in its pores, the coating creates a strongly linked chain of ionic bonds on the treated surface. This provides a durable, non-invasive, sacrificial layer to protect the integrity of your original factory paint specifications. Permagard protects against many environmental attacks including, but not limited to, corrosion, oxidation, bird droppings, tree sap, salt-laden air and water, acid rain, road grime, anti-icing and de-icing chemicals, runway grime, and barnacles, among many others, that consumers’ assets can encounter in aviation, automotive, or marine environments.
Permagard’s History

For more than 25 years, Permagard has been an industry-leading paint protection solution for protecting aircraft, cars, and boats worldwide.
