Permagard’s Arena Red 1998 Porsche Carrera S Wins First Prize
Porsche Club of America’s Gold Coast Region 2025 CONCOURS is in the books! And with its conclusion, we are pleased to announce that our ruby-colored Porsche from our signature Permagard Porsche fleet won first prize! The deciding factor from Gold Coast Region’s judges was the fact that “Ruby” still has her 28-year-old original paint specifications, which thanks to Permagard, is looking better than when she arrived in the Porsche showroom over 28 years ago. Permagard protects classic cars’ paint like nobody else. And that was shining brightly on display at this contest.

This contest is taken very seriously by the competing PCA members with nearly 50 Porsche vehicles meticulously detailed to perfection. These vehicles were prepped for this contest weeks ahead of time and a few Porsches were even delivered to the competition in an enclosed tow truck to preserve their exteriors. Talk about competitive commitment! All of these vehicles were judged by over 19 judges that were checking every square inch of each vehicle. From the exterior surfaces down to the tiniest paint chip or scratch to the interior surfaces’ leather wear and plastic trim conditions, no defect was left untallied during this competition. But we weren’t just there to compete! Permagard Automotive was thrilled to be at this wonderful, fun event to showcase our products to PCA Gold Coast Region’s passionate members. We even had a prize wheel for PCA members to spin to win a Permagard prize! One of these prizes was a sample kit that included one bottle of our Permagard Automotive Paint Protection, an applicator pad, and a microfiber towel. This was easily our most wanted prize, and we were proud to go home with no kits left to give! From the people to the picnic and the cars to the prizes, everything about this event was such a joy and we thank Gold Coast Region for allowing us to sponsor this great contest for its PCA members on such a beautiful, sunny day.
