Here at Permagard HQ, we take pride in delivering high-quality, aviation-grade paint protection solutions for our customers around the world. Permagard is trusted by the most renowned aircraft OEMs, private jet operators, and aircraft maintenance teams globally. But Permagard is not just another product that anyone can purchase and use. We do not sell our products to the general public, and that’s for good reason. To ensure the highest standard of quality for production and application, Permagard aviation coating certification is required before anyone can purchase or apply our products. This requirement guarantees that all Permagard coatings are professionally applied to your aircraft, protecting your brand’s appearance for the long term.
Why Permagard Certification Matters for Aviation Coating Quality
Anyone can be taught how to apply Permagard. After all, one of our brand’s values is priding ourselves on having a simple and easy-to-learn application process. That’s just one of the many things that our certified installers love about Permagard. Saying that, we don’t just train and certify anyone that contacts us. We have a vetting process that involves communicating with our inquirers directly, learning more about their business and values, and how Permagard can be a good fit for their overall brand and image. We don’t just “approve” information on a computer screen. This is something our competitors are well known for, and it is why the level of quality for their products offered is not up to par with the highest standards of the aviation industry. We train each detailer on the application and use of each product on three separate paint scenarios: new paint, used paint, and old paint. In fact, all of the aircraft OEMs that have approved Permagard for use on their aircraft love that we do this. They love the fact that not just anyone can apply Permagard to their aircraft without proper training and certification. All our competitors sell their products at volume to anyone that’s willing to purchase them. We chose the selective route and train everyone that wants to purchase Permagard and work with our products. If you can buy any coating off of Alibaba or Amazon, and no training or communication with the manufacturer is required, then the product loses any sense of value for the asset it’s being applied to. This is why Permagard can ONLY be applied by applicators that have been trained and certified by us, Permagard Headquarters.

Precise Applicators Only
It’s important for us clarify that our training and certification program is not an aircraft detailing course. We do not teach detailing professionals how to clean, polish, or detail an aircraft. Instead, we focus entirely on how to apply all Permagard Aviation products properly and professionally. Almost all of our certified applicators are already experienced aircraft detailers or aviation maintenance professionals. They already bring a wealth of industry knowledge to the table, but Permagard certification boosts them to a higher ground when customers are assured that they are fully certified to apply all Permagard Aviation products. We also offer our certified applicators free top-up trainings to refresh their memory on how to apply Permagard products, as well as train any of their new employees they may want to apply Permagard too. The training and certification fee is only paid once from our certified applicators for each company location. If the company location is certified, you can have as many certified applicators as you want applying Permagard. In fact, Permagard is so popular with aircraft owners around the world that even some of them know exactly how Permagard is applied! Permagard consumers demand a certain standard of quality when it comes to Permagard applications. And with our training and certification program, we provide just that for aircraft owners around the globe.
Why We Don’t Sell to Everyone
The biggest reason that we do not sell Permagard products to the general public is quality control. When you’re a large-scale corporation that mass produces your products, you have no level of say-so for who is using them. Anyone can purchase a ceramic coating off of Alibaba or Amazon. Anyone can’t purchase Permagard. Due to this level of security, we are able to not only safeguard customers from Permagard applications that would be up to par with our standards, but also our brand’s image that we have built for over 27 years. All through managing positive business relationships, manufacturing high-quality, aviation-grade products with zero defects, and proper training and certification for all of our Permagardians around the world.
