The NBAA Miami-Opa Locka Regional Forum was a great success for us this year. Being able to attend and exhibit right here in our backyard at OPF made it even more special. As one of the key airports for private aviation in South Florida, it was the perfect setting to connect with aircraft owners, operators, and industry professionals.
Like any industry, aviation runs on relationships, and this event gave us the chance to strengthen existing ones while creating new connections. We had several of our certified installers and clients stop by the booth, which is always great to see.
One of the highlights this year was the addition of our flamingo mascot. When we were designing it, we wanted something that truly represented Miami, and what’s more Miami than a flamingo? Of course, we had to give it a Permagard twist, so naturally, it’s holding a DA polisher. It definitely caught attention, and the stickers were a hit with everyone who stopped by.
We also spent some time walking the show and checking out the aircraft on display. One standout was the Dassault Falcon 8X, featuring a clean white, grey, and red livery. As one of the top-tier business jets, its tri-engine design and premium interior really make it stand out.
From Cirrus Aircraft, we got a closer look at both the SR22 and the SF50 Vision Jet. The Vision Jet, in particular, continues to gain popularity with its single jet turbine engine and modern approach to private aviation. Both aircraft reflect a shift in the industry, bringing a more automotive-style experience with customizable interiors and exteriors, similar to configuring a high-end car.
We also had the opportunity to connect with one of our newer nationwide certified installers, RealClean Aircraft Detailing. It’s always great to see the growth and quality of work coming from teams that represent the Permagard standard.
One of the most rewarding parts of the event was speaking with owners and operators who have been using Permagard on their aircraft for years. Hearing firsthand about their experience with the gloss, ease of maintenance, and long-term protection is what makes events like this worth it. We also had the opportunity to speak with Prime Appearance, one of our veteran, nationwide-certified installers.
