Initial Application & Service Treatment
Permagard requires only one initial application for aircraft paint in excellent condition. The initial application is a one-step process for brand-new paint and a two-step process for aircraft paint in excellent condition that is not newly painted. After the initial application has been applied, Gulfstream owners can then enter into a 5-year warranty program with Permagard. Every 11-13 months, the Permagard coating receives a deep cleaning with our Permagard Service Treatment to fill in any micro-scratches that may have appeared over time. This process keeps the coating in good standing with each annual Service Treatment providing a supreme gloss that shines in the sun for years. Your Gulfstream’s painted surfaces will enjoy improved gloss readings from year to year as opposed to lower gloss readings if your aircraft paint’s is not treated with Permagard. After the 5-year warranty program has ended, Gulfstream customers may continue with Service Treatment intervals or receive a new initial application, benefiting from a new 5-year warranty.

Effortless Maintenance
We recommend two Permagard products to maintain your aircraft for all use cases: Permagard Multipurpose Cleaner and Permagard Cleaner for Treated Surfaces. The Permagard Multipurpose Cleaner is an alkaline-based cleaner designed to clean the surface of the coating without impacting its performance. Permagard Cleaner for Treated Surfaces can be used to clean any pesky stains or grease spots that may impact the appearance of the Permagard coating. Gulfstream customers can also use any OEM-approved cleaners for washing their jet once it has been treated with Permagard. Other than that, you can simply use a soft water source to clean your Gulfstream aircraft and keep it looking its best. Regular aircraft wet washes are still recommended. But when wet washes are not possible, aircraft wipe downs or dry washes can be performed. Permagard prides itself on having an easy and simple maintenance routine to give you more time in the air and less downtime on the ground.
